Or did you get used to your changed habits from when the gas prices were high??
Me, I still find myself trying to combine my errands in one trip, and still driving slower, and I still shop around for cheap gas stations!! And I still plan on getting a more economic car. (maybe not a hybrid, though.)
I never changed my driving habits.

Less driving.
Not only has gas prices caused $$ problems. Heating, electric and food keeps going up. Something has to be cut and so far it is the extra driving. Food next then heat. Unless the income goes up.

Actually, my driving habits didn’t change. I drove a lot when there was continuous oil price hike and I still do until now even if gas is cheaper. Though I must say that I realized lately that I should get a gas saver car to lessen my expenses. In fact right now, I’m looking also at gas saving tips in http://autopartswarehouse.tumblr.com/ As early as now I want to save even if I haven’t bought an eco-friendly car yet.

No. I always drove, since 1968, to minimize my gasoline usage, even when it was 45 cents a gallon.

I never reduced my driving when the gas was peaking at $4 / gallon. My daily round trip commute is 102 miles and that’s with no side trips.
I must say I am enjoying the time at the pump more when I see less money being handed over. I still hope to sometime to see the day we can say "eat your oil….."

I am driving less.
And I think that everyone should try to minimize their driving at all times, not just when gas is expensive. That way we can stop it from getting expensive in the first place.
