For your next vacation — consider booking a hotel room with a kitchen. Even just making breakfast at your hotel can save both money and time. Ask at reception for directions to a local grocery store, and stock up on basics as well as healthy snacks for day trips. And remember to pack a cooler bag to take leftovers with you for the trip home.

Money Saving Tips – Two Hot Money Saving Tips!
Wanna save money on cable TV?” Well, a few months ago I kissed cable TV bye-bye and I’m now saving over $150 per month on my Comcast cable bill. Not only did I save money on Cable TV, but on another service that we really don’t need to pay for on a monthly basis.
You might be thinking…”Vernette, why such a harsh title on this blog post?” It’s done for marketing purposes.
My Comcast cable TV bill used to be $217. I didn’t think much of it until I decided to start living a more simple life, go back to basics, and save money. I believe we are too accustomed to “Stuff” that we do not really need, but we think we need them. It was difficult to get rid of the cable at first, but I’m glad I did. Why spend $217 monthly for cable when there are other alternatives.
Of course I had to replace the cable with something that my children can watch. I didn’t want to give them the instant shock of their lives…NO CABLE! So anyway, I thought I’d share the video below on my two money saving tips. It’s a bit long, but it can help you save some money.
